Cavaliers in the Community

The Cavaliers CC is committed to having an impact in the broader community as well as on the cricket field.
Youth Programs

Part of our mission is to spread our love for the game with the youth of America, introducing the game to a new audience.

The club has offered coaching clinics at a variety of Massachusetts schools and towns including North Andover, Andover and Westborough. Further clinics and camps are planned for 2020/212.

Our members participate in coaching the "Young Patriots" (MSCL-U18) team that represents the State of Massachusetts.

Coaching

In 2020 we appointed our first cricket coach- Raghunandan (Raghu) Sridhar- who is tasked with building a youth program at the club and improving overall player coaching. In addition, he is responsible for the National Cricket Academy America (NCAA) coaching academy offering individual and group coaching sessions for kids aged 5-18 years from all over the State of MA.

National Cricket Academy America (NCAA) was founded in 2019 recognizing a demand for quality professional cricket coaching in our local community and being well placed to deliver this with our team of experienced coaches who have a perfect blend of cricket knowledge, enthusiasm and dedication that makes our coaching program a safe and fun learning environment.

Our Academy’s vision is to be recognized for its sportsmanship, inclusiveness and its social contribution to the local community. We constantly strive to excel in providing an affordable and unique professional cricket coaching program, and to be the place of choice for cricketers, supporters and volunteers alike within the community.

In the summer and fall of 2019, NCAA in partnership with Westborough Recreation Center, successfully conducted a youth program in the Westborough community.

Starting from the year 2021 and beyond, NCAA coaches and our club members are looking forward to working with USA Cricket to bring the “Rookie League National Entry Level Program” to our local communities and schools in order to grow Cricket in the state of Massachusetts at the grassroots level. Philanthropy

The Club members target philanthropy to the wider cricket community who find themselves in times of need. Money has been raised for a variety of issues including pediatric care, Covid 19 business relief, homelessness, immigration, job loss and other worthy causes.
